🏁 Motion Performance Raceway – Opening Weekend 🏁

The wait is finally over! Motion Performance Raceway will officially open August Long Weekend, with our first-ever race weekend. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome everyone back to drag racing in Manitoba.

Friday

* Gates Open: 2:00 PM
* Tech: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Saturday – August 1

* Tech Opens: 8:00 AM
* Test & Tune: Begins at 9:30 AM
* DRAM Gamblers/Memorial Race: Starts at 1:00 PM

Important: Anyone wishing to compete in the DRAM Gamblers/Memorial Race must purchase a Test & Tune tech card to be eligible.

Sunday – Race Day

Bracket racing will feature four classes:

* 🏁 Box
* 🏁 No Box
* 🏁 Heavy Street (12.00 seconds and slower)
* 🏁 Jr. Dragster

We’ll also be running a Test & Tune class on Sunday for anyone looking to make additional passes.

Pit Parking Information

Please note that Motion Performance Raceway sponsors will have first choice of pit spaces as a thank you for their support. These reserved spots will be clearly marked with signs displaying the sponsor’s name.

All remaining pit spaces will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

A Note to Our Racers and Fans

This is our very first race weekend as Motion Performance Raceway. We’re incredibly excited, but we also know there will be a learning curve. We’ve worked tirelessly to get to this point, and while we’ve planned and prepared as much as possible, there may be a few bumps along the way.

We ask for your patience and understanding as we learn, adapt, and continue improving. If something doesn’t go exactly as planned, we’ll address it, learn from it, and make it better. Our goal is to build a first-class drag racing facility and experience that Manitoba can be proud of.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey. We can’t wait to see everyone at the track and kick off a new chapter for drag racing in Manitoba.

For over 50 years, Ken Murray has been involved in the sport of drag racing in Canada, as a driver, crew chief, engine builder and car owner. In the 70’s, Ken was a Division Champion for two consecutive years in Comp Eliminator with his dragster. Ken Murray won Atlanta’s Fram Southern Nationals event in Top Alcohol Dragster in 1988, while collecting several divisional event wins throughout the years.

Important Notice – Transportation Policy at Motion Performance Raceway

To help ensure safe and enjoyable weekends for everyone, we'd like to remind all guests of our transportation policy.

Spectators are not permitted to operate e-scooters, e-bikes, golf carts, ATVs (4-wheelers), or any similar motorized transportation anywhere on the grounds of Motion Performance Raceway.

Guests requiring a mobility scooter are exempt from this policy. Please present your Handicap Parking Permit at the gate upon entry.

Racers and pit crew are the only individuals permitted to operate these types of vehicles. Operators must be at least 16 years of age, and this requirement applies at all times throughout the weekend—not just during event operating hours.

This policy has been implemented to reduce traffic in and around the pits, improve pedestrian safety, and help prevent unnecessary accidents and injuries.

We appreciate everyone's cooperation and understanding as we work together to keep Motion Performance Raceway safe for all competitors, crew members, and spectators.

🏁 WILDRIDES CASH DAYS – 62 DAYS AWAY! 🏁

After a few changes along the way, we’ve finalized the classes for August 29, 2026!

Our goal has always been to make Cash Days about bringing together racers from all performance levels. Whether you’re running a slower street car, an index car, or a full-on race machine, we wanted to make sure there was a place for everyone to line up and have fun.

The crew at Motion Performance Raceway and many volunteers have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to take this track to the next level. —August 29 will showcase a Cash Days racing experience unlike anything you’ve seen before.

We couldn't be more excited to be holding our first event here with them and are excited to be back!

Wowsas!!

The concrete is down!

Today marks a huge milestone for our track as we officially poured our brand-new concrete starting line.

This project wouldn't have happened without the incredible support from our racers, fans, local businesses, sponsors, and volunteers. The response has been nothing short of amazing, and we're proud to build something that will benefit our racing community for years to come.

Now there's only one thing left to do...

Get ready to put some rubber on it. 😎

Opening Weekend is July 11-12, and we're right on schedule.

We are doing a fundraiser for a concrete start line. The asphalt there is in bad shape and we don’t want to “patch it” we want to make it better.

Either way we are doing 150 feet per lane equaling 300 total feet.

How the fundraiser works is for $200 you get 1 foot to your name. We will have a large sign on the tower showing the sponsors. Sponsors can be your name, a business, car club or your YouTube channel.

If we sell more than 300 spots then we will pour more concrete to match the fundraiser amount. So if you sponsor $400 that would be 2 feet and so on.

At the open house this Saturday you can see what we are doing and will have a debit machine there. We can take e-transfer, cash, debit cards and credit cards as well.
