Before a journalist can compile a story, he/she must source information. It is imperative there are multiple sources which support the story they’re writing.
Much the same applies to getting news of the world. You should not rely on news from one media source. This means do not place faith you are getting correct information when you listen or watch your favourite Canadian news channel.
Search independent sources and publications online. There are many and from all places on the globe.
Be as a journalist and check all your sources before believing what you see on the news. Do not assume you are seeing the truth.

You can choose to believe there is evil in the world or you can choose to believe there is goodness in the world. It is all a matter of perception and choice. Training your mind is a quiet discipline. Meditation helps control negative thoughts and thinking and redirects thoughts to positive outlook. Now doesn’t this sound like the path to higher levels in life? Is does to me and results show it is working in my life.

Some of the most nostalgic memories are of family camping trips. Back in the 70’s, it was more simple to secure a site. You completed the usual packing, hopped in the car, arrived at the park early enough and a site was usually available. Today it is a different story. There is almost no point in even leaving unless you have reserved a site beforehand. So many rules and regulations to observe albeit for the health and safety of all it detracts from the pleasure.
Is it any wonder people choose to look back in time and relive the memories of past camping trips as a comparison?
August has been a scorcher of a month and perfect for camping and swimming the lake waters. For all you campers out there, I hope you are enjoying the last few days of August sitting by campfire light, roasting marshmallows with the kids, telling stories, singing, cuddling thinking of anything except COVID lockdown. You are creating family memories. Memories that will last far into the future. Happy Camping.
