Todays project was building the bottom end of this cute little ford vsg413 1.3L engine. This model is popular in Europe and used mostly as an industrial motor in Canada. You’ll find these in forklifts, commercial mowers ect. This particular engine is out of a 40 ft manlift. The original complaint was it would not run for more than 5 minutes and smokes out the entire neighborhood. The cylinders were badly scored and glazed. The block was bored .020 over, reconditioned head and a complete overhaul to follow. These are the jobs I truly enjoy 😊 Happy Friday everyone!! 🥳

Let’s talk about wheel bearings!! Did you know that your bearings should be repacked with grease annually or every 12000 Kms ? It’s very cheap insurance that you’ll make it where your going⛱️ Wheel bearing failure happens all to often due to lack of maintenance. Book today to have you travel trailer, boat, horse or utility trailer bearings serviced. This includes a brake, suspension and trailer chassis inspection. June special is only 40$ per wheel. This includes grease, new pins and labour. Don’t worry about taking time from your busy day to haul it anywhere, I’ll come to you.

The results of ignoring that awful screech coming from the brakes. There is absolutely no pad left🤯 Don’t wait to get yours done ✅ Progressive damage can occur resulting in a much more costly repair. In this case the customer needed new rotors and calipers due to the heat generated by metal on metal friction. 60 dollars in parts turned into almost 500 dollars. Call or msg for your free quote.
