**Lafeber Claims 53 Lap Stew Massender Memorial**
Merlin, ON (June 14th, 2026)

After starting the season in dominating fashion winning the first three points events in the Clone 375 division, Parker Lafeber continued his dominance on Saturday leading 52 laps of the 53 lap main event, fending off challenges from Cody DesRosier in the late stages of the caution free race.

In another caution free main event, Ryker McDonald would claim the Jr. 3 Stew Massender Memorial 35 Lap co-main event on Saturday afternoon, fending off challenges from Aric West [2nd] and Mason Drouillard [3rd] throughout the 35 lap event. Ryker would take control of the field on lap 1 from the 2nd starting spot. West would make a charge on lap 20 but was unable to hold off Ryker as he would regain the lead on lap 21, finishing out the last 15 laps of the event. This would be Ryker’s first feature win at the Raceway since opening night of the 2024 season!

We had one last sponsorship step up Saturday Morning, with Gregg Haskell of Haulin’ Haskells/ Haskell Racing putting an extra $50 to 3rd, 5th, and last place of the Clone 375 and Jr. 3 Stew Massender Memorial feature races!

**MASSENDER FAMILY BUMPS JR. 3 TO FULL FIELD PAYOUT**

During last evenings events, the Massender family stepped up and posted another $500 into the pot for today’s 5th Annual running of Stews race! The $500 will be used to provide full field payout to the 35 Lap, Jr. 3 Stew Massender Memorial race later this afternoon, guaranteeing $50 to start for the 12 kart field! The added money from the Massender Family and Joe’s One Stop last evening brings us to over $5000 in guaranteed payout and awards for today’s events!

**CLONE 375 FULL FIELD PAYOUT**

How about one more payout increase before the 5th Annual Stew Massender Memorial??? Joe Brosseau with Joe’s One Stop has stepped up and added $500 into tomorrow’s payouts! $100 has been added to Jr. 3 winners share to make it $553 to WIN. $100 has also been added to the Clone 375 class to make it $753 to WIN! The remaining $300 will be spread amongst the Clone 375 field to GUARANTEE $40 to start the 53 lap main event! This will be the 3rd time in event history we’ve been able to have full field payout is the 53 lap main event, the first time since 2023!

It’s RACE DAY to kick off our first two day weekend of the 2026 season! We’ve also filled our last two Hard Charger Awards for Saturdays events! Steve Vince with S.C.V. Mobile Grain Cleaning has added $300 into Saturdays purse. $100 will go to the hard charger of Sr. Predator and Over 35. $50 has been added to top up the Jr. 1 Hard charger making all classes having the $100 hard charger bonus on Saturday! The final $50 from S.C.V. will be added to 4th place payout of the 53 Lap Clone 375 Stew Massender Memorial feature event!

**Jr. 1, Jr. 2 & Jr. 3 Hard Charger Award**

Dwayne Brooks and Trish Austin with Brooksy RV Rentals has put up $250 that will be utilized for hard charger awards on Saturday in Jr. 1 ($50), Jr. 2 ($100), and Jr. 3 ($100). You can check out the Brooksy RV Rentals Facebook group, and possibly even get them booked for our next two day event with our 6th Annual Thanksgiving Throw Down!

The same stipulations will apply for the Junior class hard charger awards as are in place for the Sportsman and Clone 375 classes.

**Stew Massender Clone 375 & Sportsman Hard Charger Award**

Darrin Haskell of Haskell Coatings has stepped up and put up $100 to the hard charger for both Clone 375, and the Sportsman divisions on Saturday!

Hard Charger award stipulations
- Driver must have attempted to start and finish both heat races (avoid sand bagging to worsen start position)
- Positions gained is based off initial grid position for feature
- In the event of a tie, the driver who finished farther forward is awarded the Hard charger (ie: kart 21 starts 8th - finishes 2nd [+6], Kart 11 starts 11th - Finished 5th [+6], Kart 21 receives hard charger)

We’ll kick off the weekend with our third points paying event of the 2026 season on Friday Night, before our 5th Annual Stew Massender Memorial!

**Stew Massender Memorial Update**

An anonymous sponsor has come on board for the Stew Massender Memorial event, adding $700 to the wins share of Saturday, June 13th events! Sr. predator and Sportsman will both now pay $453 to win, with Jr. 1, Jr. 2, and Over 35 now paying $253 to win! We are always open to event sponsorship! Whether you have a specific class you would like to help boost the purse or just want to add to the event as a whole, all sponsorship proceeds always go straight back to the racers!

**5th Annual Stew Massender Memorial**
Merlin, ONT (May 24th, 2026)

Our first two day event of the 2026 season is fast approaching with the 5th annual running of the Stew Massender Memorial.

The Stew Massender Memorial has become one of the premier karting events in Southern Ontario, with the coveted 53 Lap Stew Massender Memorial Main event being swept by Chris Couvillon in the first 3 runnings. After sitting out year 4, Chris Couvillon’s son - Kolton Couvillon took over the reigns winning the 53 Lap event keeping the checkered flag in the family. Will we see a new winner in the 5th running of the event or will the Couvillon’s continue to dominate the long events?
