π΄ Red β Indicates performance-oriented brakes. For example, the 2027 Nissan Z Performance features lightweight aluminum Akebono calipers.
β€οΈ Bright Red β Found on the 2027 Nissan Z NISMO. Borrowed from the Nissan GT-R, these high-performance brakes feature two-piece iron/aluminum rotors designed to handle extreme heat.
π‘ Gold β Typically signifies Brembo brakes, found on select high-performance models such as the 350Z Track Edition and certain Nissan GT-Rs.
π¨ Yellow β The rarest brake caliper colour in the Nissan lineup. Seen on models like the 2023 Nissan Z Proto Spec and the 2020 GT-R's NISMO and Track editions, these brakes are engineered to remain fade-resistant at temperatures exceeding 1,000Β°C.
