It's that time of year again. Saturday Dec. 2nd Channel Port aux Basques Volunteer Fire Department Annual Santa Claus Parade.... Parade starts at 1 at the old Stan Dawe building....anyone can submit a float, decorate a side by side or pickup...you can even dress up and walk. Let's celebrate the Christmas Spirit and put a smile on someone's face. 1st place winner takes home the Santa Cup..... If you have any candy or chips to donate you can drop it off at the town hall.

On behalf of the Channel Port aux Basques Fire Department we would like to say thank you to everyone for making this year's Santa Claus Parade a huge success. The challenge was made and everyone stepped up and made it happen. After the year we have had we we're hoping that this year's parade would bring a small bit of Christmas Spirit. The whole town steeped up and made it a great success.
