Ernie’s Used Auto Parts is a family-owned and operated business located in Castlegar, B.C. Ernie Ady started the business as a gas station operation in 1965. His son, Stuart, worked in the business at an early age pumping gas and in 1980 Stuart became a partner, starting the auto wrecking part of the business. Ernie passed away in 1991 and Stuart and his wife Mary-Ann worked hard to grow the busin

ess. They eventually sold the towing operation and in 2004 STuart and Mary-Ann expanded the office and sales to meet the needs of the growing salvage company. Christopher, Stuart and Mary-Ann’s son, has been working in the company from a young age, and he’s now the sales manager and manages the day-to-day operations of the company. In 2009 Ernie’s expanded and built a 10,0000 square foot building which houses five dismantling bays, the shipping/receiving department, inventory control and warehouse.
