In the short time we have called this special place home, I continue to be blown away every day more than the last by its peacfull raw beauty. Watching the seasons change has been nothing shy of amazing. My heart is so full! I have prob taken 300 plus pictures but here's a few.

If you need to recharge from the hustle of city living then you need to come check this lil gem.out.

Jamie and Ryan here, and we are the proud new owners of the adorable l’il Tay River Motel. To say we are excited to be embarking on this adventure with all of you is an understatement, to say the least!
We have packed up our lives in Red Deer, and landed here at this sweet little hidden gem in Alberta's beautiful back country.
After all, we all know WEST IS ALBERTA’S BEST! 😉
We want to welcome EVERYONE back to your same great “happy place”, Tay, just now with a new twist.
WE ARE OFFICIALLY OPEN TO PUBLIC out here at:
"TAY RIVER “STAYAWAY” LODGE & CAMPING".
Come pop out and say hi, or book a room and come for a getaway!
With hunting season now in full swing, and all zones open as of Nov. 1st., you really won’t find a more convenient place to park your truck and ride off on your ATV right from your front door here at the Lodge.
We are located 29 kms. west of Caroline, and right in the thick of literally thousands of acres of prime crown land!
We look forward to seeing everyone soon.

This long weekend made for the perfect day trip out to Crescent Falls, which was just beautiful! There are many more lakes, rivers and waterfalls to discover close by, right here in David Thompson Country. 👍

Well, the sun peeked out long enough this weekend for some of our residents to pop out to Ram River Falls! Just about an hour’s drive from the park, or the perfect day trip by quad, leaving right from your site! Just pack a lunch and go! ☀️🏕️🛶🎣

What’s it going to be this weekend? 🤔 Many of our site owners have been busy beavers, buildings decks and sheds, landscaping and beautifying their lots, but there’s always time for some fun, right? Especially when you can quad on to the crown land right from your site, and when there are so many lakes and rivers close by to choose from!
