A $10,000 bike that DOESN'T have a chain stay protector??? Say What????

This is a B-E-A-UTIFUL bike. From front to back. Check it out.

I can't disagree with what Pinkbike has in this article, however. They missed one VERY important thing that EVERY bike should have.......

Some sort of Chain-stay protector!!!!!!

Yes, many new bikes have fairly solid deraileur clutches that keep chain slap to a minimum. But if you drop a chunk of change on a new whip, you want it to be quiet.

Ok, so our "Silencer" product doesn't look nearly as nice as this offering from VHS, but.......

Ours is a LOT cheaper, is made here in 🇨🇦 and is made from recycled tires! And it WORKS!

What is chain-slap you might ask???

When it comes to bike noise, one you cannot miss is chain slap, down every rough downhill section or off every drop your chain makes a right racket slapping up and down against your swingarm (chain-sstay). Some bikes are fitted with chainstay protectors, but their main purpose is to protect the frame underneath, not necessarily keep noise at bay.

Enter the "Silencer" by Rocky Mountain Rubber. This piece of recycled bike tire will either dramatically reduce, or completely eliminate the sound of chain-slap on your rig. Of course, many other variables come in to play with, but the silencer will make you realize what you were missing out on!
