IN SEARCH OF EXPERIENCED DETAILER!!
We are in need of an experienced detailer to join our team here @ Scratch Doctor Detailing in Campbell River. We are a full service detail shop offering cleaning and protection of vehicles, boats, rvs, big rigs and much, much more. All of our work is done in house in our own shop which is properly insured and outfitted to be a detail shop with great lighting and proper drainage for the wash bay. Our double overheight bays allow us to work most big boats, rigs and rvs inside comfortably without fighting the weather and temperatures outside.
We will pay dollar depending on experience and abilities for someone capable of cut polishing boats as well as cleaning vehicles. Besides the competitive wage we also offer bonuses as a show of our appreciation.
Our business hours are Monday to Friday
8 am to 5pm . Closed Weekends and Holidays.

Detailers Tip:
With all the nasty rain we have been having it is a great time to check your vehichle for moisture
Whether it is brand new off the lot or a collectors item from the old days it is a good idea to pull up the floor mats from the carpet and look at the underside of the mat to see if there is any condensation on it. If there is then that means there is water under the carpet and you may have a water leak. The carpet may dry out on its own but the underlay under the carpet will never. It will need to be replaced unfortunately. Tell tale signs can also be mold anywhere especially on the seal belt straps that roll up or just humidity on the inside windows in a wet day.

For marine services, most boats come in looking for an exterior detail which consists of a light cut polish of the flat gel coated areas for oxidization removal, followed by a protective UV wax coating, as well as a cleaning and conditioning of all boat leather, a shiny metal polish is applied to all stainless, windows done, canvas windows are treated followed by a good floor scrub and cubby clean. Some boat owners choose to add a cuddy clean to the detail as well which does a full steam clean, wipe down and dry out of the interior. Most marine details are accomplished in only 3 business days.
