I would like to take this opportunity to share a little bit about my husband and I so you know who you are entrusting your vehicle with, and where you are spending your hard earned money at. Pat Berrevoets moved to Campbell River in Grade 5 and has lived here ever since except for a short stint in Victoria where he realized he wanted to come back and start an apprenticeship with Tyee Chev. He had

worked as a clean up kid for many years before that and they were happy to have him on board. He graduated at the top of his class in 2002! Since then he has worked at both Tyee Chev and Starlitt Automotive where he gained a wealth of knowledge on all makes and models. He seems to be given a lot of those jobs that have already been to one or two shops where nobody can quite figure out what is going on or how to fix it. I think he is a mechanical genius, those are my words not his, and I can picture his cheeks blushing once he discovers this :) I know how excited he is about this venture and he is really looking forward to fixing people's vehicles right the first time! Other ways you may know Pat is from his strong involvement within the Campbell River Soccer Association where he has been coaching for the last 8 years. This year was extra busy for him as all 3 of our girls are now in soccer and he coached all of their teams! He has also coached soft ball for two years when our oldest was involved and he plays slow pitch twice a week. Last but not least he has been coaching the Campbell River Wrestling Club for about 12 seasons now. He is an amazing hands on Dad, a fantastic coach and a wonderful husband, I am so proud of him and all that he does. As for me I was born and raised in CR and have only ventured as far as Oyster River and Black Creek :) I am now living on the street I grew up on and our kids are going to the same school I went to as a child. I will continue to raise our girls so you probably won't find me in the shop very often until they are a little older. I also have a small birthday party/ special events business called Party Mama's where I do glitter tattoo's and hair feather extensions, you may have seen me through out the community. My favourite thing about my business is talking with the kids for a few minutes because they say the most hilarious things! I also love the look on their faces when they see their feather or tattoo for the first time. The joy is infectious and I can't wait to do our Grande opening so I can meet our future customers sweet, smiling children, there will be free tattoo's for everyone! Stay tuned for more info :)

I just want to send out a quick message thanking everyone for their continued business and support over the years!!! We really appreciate every one of you ☺️
Unfortunately for our customers we are booking into the last week of July right now. If you’re needing an oil change, or have been putting off booking a job you know needs done, please keep in mind that the calendar is filling up fast!
Thank you for understanding and your patience when you call and we offer an appointment 3-4 weeks down the rd. We know that it’s not ideal.

Some of you may have seen last night that there was a post on a local page. It was telling people to stay away from our business, unless people want to catch Covid. It had a picture of a vehicle with New Mexico plates parked in front and our sign in the background. The person that posted it, had followed the man (who has been living in Comox since BEFORE the pandemic) he told him to go back to his Country and that he isn’t welcome here. The man was meeting Pat to buy a used cell phone, he was shaking and visibly upset by the interaction. I realize that people are here illegally, but this is not the case with this man, the chance of him having Covid are the same as any other resident on the Island. I have spoke to the person who posted the picture and let him know that the guy is here legally, but he has again posted the guys SUV and license plate on another fb page. Let’s try to keep in mind not to jump to conclusions, please reach out to us if you have any concerns regarding Covid and our procedures, in the words of Bonnie Henry try to be kind with each other and stay calm during this time.

I just want to thank everyone for the continued support, we are now back open with a very limited crew. Please feel free to call the shop to book an appointment 250-287-7226. Because of limited staff you may have to leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Our office has very limited space so please do not come in if there is already 2 people inside. If you could wait outside the door or in your vehicle that would be great.
We are also not able to offer shuttle services at this time.

CR Auto temporally closed last week due to possible Covid-19 exposure within our family. Everyone is healthy at home and we were hoping to re open this week, but so many things have changed since we closed that we do not feel like it is the right time. Dr’s and Nurses across the community, Province and Country are urging us to stay home along with our community leaders. Even with extra precautions we will not be able to fully protect our customers, ourselves or our families. If you have a safety issue or emergency please feel free to message us and we will do what we can to help you. Our customers are very important to us and we do not want to abandon them in these strange, scary and uncertain times.
Stay safe everyone and we hope to re open as soon as possible. Thank you for all your support over the years!!!
