We had a busy first day back after the long weekend, and an exciting one welcoming JR Hutchinson to the Discovery Collision team! JR comes to us with 20 years experience around different vehicles in all areas from fixing and installing tires, selling new and used ones, and wrenching on his own on the weekends. JR is excited to join the team and be back in a shop atmosphere, and hit the ground running today to prove it!

If you’ve had the pleasure of working with JR and getting into a new or used vehicle over the last 6 years, you know he will put the same care and attention into helping fix it should it ever occur.

Welcome to the team JR, great work today!

It is with great sadness, that we have to announce the passing of our good friend and teammate, Chris Smith “Smitty”. We here at the Bodyshop, and definitely many members of our community, will miss Chris greatly!

Chris came out of retirement to help us out when we were short on staff and ended up staying on. He was always wanting to produce his best work and eager to help wherever needed. His will be a big pair of shoes to fill.

Chris’ stories of quading, camping and riding his Harley where always ready to be told. I was fortunate to have had a conversation with Smitty where he told me how much he loved working here, felt like family and that he was appreciated. There was no greater compliment, as we all felt the same of him.

Ride on Smitty. May the wind be at your back and the sun on your face!
