Join us at the Annual Cambridge Plant Show & Shine on Sunday August 30th from 9:00am to 2:00pm! The show car entrance fee is by donation, with all proceeds going to United Way Waterloo Region Communities. All are welcome to come out, have fun, and support the United Way! Entry is free for spectators.

Bathing is one of the most personal parts of a person’s day. For residents with medical or mobility challenges, the right equipment can help make that experience safer, calmer, and more comfortable.

That is why we are deeply grateful to Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada for their generous $50,000 donation to Saint Luke’s Place.

This gift will help fund new therapeutic bathing systems for our long-term care residents, so they can receive care in a way that helps them feel supported, respected, and at ease. It also helps our staff provide that care in a safer and more comfortable way.

Mobility is about more than getting from one place to another. It is about independence, dignity, and being able to take part in everyday life. This generous donation will have an immediate and lasting impact on the daily lives of our residents.

Thank you to the Toyota team for helping us strengthen the care we provide to our residents. Your support will be felt in the everyday moments that matter most.

The annual Toyota Safety Celebration 2026 kicked off at the beginning of June. This year's theme was 'For Those Who Drive Us'.

Everyone has one. That reason for safety that lingers in our minds and hearts as we drive to work, go through our day and look forward to the weekends. This June, the Toyota Safety Celebration focused, not only on how we can each contribute to a safe workplace and safe actions, but WHY we do that. We do it 'For Those Who Drive Us'.

Remember that every action we take - no matter how small or how big - impacts our safety and the safety of everyone around us. We must strive for the highest standards in safety, no matter where we are - at work, at home, at play, at rest.

TMMC was honoured today with a Silver J.D. Power Plant Quality Award in the J.D. Power 2026 U.S. Initial Quality Study, recognizing the world’s top automotive plants.

This year, TMMC’s North Plant earned Silver in the North and South America Region for building the Toyota RAV4 and RAV4 Hybrid and the Lexus NX and NX Hybrid.

TMMC has been recognized with 24 plant quality awards since 1991 and is now tied as the most awarded automotive manufacturing plant in the world, continuing its legacy of global manufacturing excellence.

Last weekend, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada Inc., raised $1,640 for United Way Oxford at their annual Show and Shine Car Show! Thank you to everyone from TMMC for organizing the event, to all the volunteers who kept the day running smoothly, to the car owners who showed off the coolest cars, and, of course, to all the community members who stopped by!

TMMC Team Members have created Lending Libraries throughout the plant, making it easy to borrow or lend a book while fostering a sense of community and encouraging reading.

The initiative began in South Weld in 2023, just off the green walkway, where the library remains stocked with a wide variety of books. Inspired by its success, Team Members in West Weld and North Assembly have since created their own libraries.

In North Assembly, two Team Members even launched a Book of the Month board to share their current recommendations.

What started as a small effort to make reading more accessible and sustainable in South Weld has grown into a plant-wide initiative, with participation across all three plants.
