Hey everyone, Pete Simpson here
As I’m sure most of you are aware, all the businesses in the area have been victim to theft over the past few years. First, I addressed city council last week. You can find the clip on Youtube. You may have heard me on AM570 this morning talking about it. I’ve been interviewed with several papers and news outlets. I have an interview with CBC tomorrow.
I would like to offer anyone in the area that are having problems with theft to reach out. Now that the issue is getting some attention and traction, now is the time for businesses and people to band together so our voices can be heard. Police are arresting the same culprits over and over again, because there is no recourse for their actions. I am part of an email list of businesses experiencing the theft problem, and I would like to hear more from everyone and anyone experiencing theft problems. I want to forward the emails to city council, as I imagine there is much more unreported thefts. The more we can provide, the more political attention we can bring to the problem. Thank you for reading. Please share the post.

We get asked quite often why we can't just fill up a truck tire once it's gone flat. Driving on a flat tire can result in sidewall damage, and that tire has to be inspected by a tire shop before it can be inflated again. This is what can happen if you inflate a tire with sidewall damage.
