These photos illustrate the importance of servicing your driveline.

This magnetic drain plug came out of a 4x4 truck transfer case today The truck has low mileage at 72,503kms and has a Factory Scheduled Maintenance interval of 72,000kms for the transfer case. Yes, that is a ton of metal shavings/filings stuck to the drain plug.

A perfect example of why we stress and recommend that vehicle owners follow their Factory Scheduled Maintenance.

2 things wrong with this picture.

1) this extremely dirty cabin air filter badly hurts air flow thru your air conditioning system.

2) This vehicle was going to the wrong shop. Shame on them for never checking it and bringing it to the customers attention.
