GoElectric Closing Announcement
After eight wonderful years serving the EV community, it is with a heavy heart that we announce GoElectric will be closing its doors on June 30, 2026.
We opened in 2018 with a passion for making electric vehicles more accessible. Since then, we’ve helped put hundreds of EVs on roads across Alberta and beyond; shipping to British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, and even the Yukon and Northwest Territories.
Owners David Lloyd and Greg Gillette have committed financially to the support of EV adoption in Alberta through events like Charged Up in Calgary, EV Adoption Week, and many others across Edmonton, Calgary, and Canmore. Our team, Rajko Pavic, Sean Smiley, and Ash Nguyen, remain passionate about EVs and will continue supporting the community.
Of course, none of this would have been possible without the incredible support from our customers and the EV community. From the early adopters of first-generation EVs (like the Fiat 500e and Nissan Leaf) to everyone who has helped grow EV adoption in Alberta: thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your friendship, loyalty, and enthusiasm.
We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished and are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible.
Service and Warranty Note:
OK Tire 17th Ave SW (right next door) will continue to service the EVs we’ve sold. They will also honour our 30-day bumper-to-bumper warranty on all vehicles sold this month.
Rajko, Sean, and Ash will remain active in the Calgary and Alberta EV community, so you’ll likely still see us around at events and charging stations.
Thank you again for being part of our journey. It’s been an honour and a privilege to serve you.
