Now that was a successful weekend of work. Shop men’s washroom clean up. With the help of Broc (grandson) and Kevin (shop manager) the job was done in know time at all. I really wish I had taken a before picture so you would all know how amazing this looks. Thank you very much Kevin & Broc!

You know when you go to your page and it says “WHAT’S ON YOUR MIND”? Do you ever have the urge to really write out what’s on your mind? Today I had to stop my mind and just pick out a few topics that I felt I really needed to let out. It is the last day of 2023 and I am looking back over the year. I was taught a few good lessons this year in life. Life is so incredibly short and we truly need to start living every day as if it were our last. Be kind to everyone and hope that it becomes a pandemic that we all share. Kindness being spread everywhere, from person to person. It would be so incredible. Trust your heart. Even a love gone wrong is better then know love at all. That may have been in a country song. Also I have realized that you can never be to thankful. I am not great at expressing my personal feelings but I am working on it. I could never express how thankful I am to all of the people in my life that support me personally and all the amazing people that support me in business. I am blessed. I head into 2024 with a more open mind and heart and hope to fill both with only the best.
May 2024 be everything that you want it to be and more!
Do your best to be kind and understanding of everyone.

2023 thank you for the lessons in life, 2024 get

We have a couple of positions that we need to fill at the shop....
1st position is for a Janitor between the hours of 1:00pm to 4:00pm Monday thru Friday. The cleaning has heavy lifting of garbage cans, lots of sweeping and mopping. If you have an interest or know of someone looking for a three hour a day cleaning job PLEASE contact the shop or email me directly at [email protected]
2nd position is for a Advance Driver Assist Technician. Don't let the title scare you off. It is a very simply job to train for as I was told when I purchased the equipment "that a monkey can do this". So if you know of any monkeys out there not busy climbing trees or eating bananas have them contact me. Seriously, it is a trainable job in a matter of days. 7:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Thursdays, and 7:30am to 3:00pm Fridays. It's going to be a hot one this weekend! This may just be the last real warm summer weekend so get out there and enjoy. I personally have been di**le daddling the past week with family visiting the city, so unfortunately I will be working all weekend. I have been told that it was an fantastic week at the shop. Thank you for that Calgarians!

Happy Friday everyone. It has been a very productive week. Since I have owned the shop 33+ years, there have been six shipping containers 8’x26’ in the far back part of the property. Well I finally found a company that would take them away. A big THANK YOU to Ed with Rocky Mountain Crane Services for taking them away. Three months of looking for someone to get them off the property and then Ed walks in my office door. Less then 24 hours later they are gone. Incredible! Now the arborist comes in, a little fill and some bobcat work and we have added 40 parking spots to the yard. It only took 33+ years to make happen, but mom always said “good things are worth waiting for”.
The appraisers have been going none stop doing hail estimates all week. If you do find yourself needing to come in for a hail estimate, please bring your vehicle in clean and know that it is not a quick process. A properly done hail estimate takes 45 minutes to an hour. So be prepared to sit and wait, or bring your dog along and go for a walk in the area, maybe lunch across the street, a good book, anything to occupy your time because, sitting and staring at the receptionist and asking every five minutes if they are almost done is not fun for anyone.
Everyone have a fantastic weekend. Make the best of the time you have with family and enjoy the warm sunshine while it is still here. You know what is right around the corner….thank you all for the continued support.

It’s Friday! I know it is hard to believe, but I have nothing to say this week. Okay come on not that much of a miracle. I do however hope that you all have an amazing long weekend with your family and friends. Stay safe, drive sober, and be kind!
