Crank is in. Main caps are going down. ⚙️
This is where the Challenger HEMI bottom end starts locking into place.

After the clearances are checked and the crank is cleaned, the main caps get installed and torqued so the rotating assembly can start coming together for real.

It’s not the loud part yet, but this is the foundation everything else depends on.

Truck’s sitting a little questionable on the hoist, so the stands come out and camera guy immediately starts thinking about how stupid this obituary is gonna sound. 😂

Hendrik, completely unfazed, is basically carrying himself like if today’s the day, then today’s the day.

Camera guy made one thing very clear though. If he’s getting crushed by a truck, it is absolutely not gonna be by some rusty old sh*tbox like this.
At the very least, kill him with something respectable.

Oh! Nevermind; Hendrik says, "It's Pink."

Not every diesel fuel system failure starts with a broken part. ⚠️

Sometimes it is bad fuel.

Sometimes it is water.

Sometimes it is metal from a failing pump.

Sometimes it is DEF in the diesel tank.

And sometimes, if someone really does not like you, it can be vandalism.

Fuel contamination can come from more places than people think, and once it gets through the system, the repair can get ugly fast.

Getting parts ready always goes smooth… until somebody powder coats where powder coat has no business being. 😂

Hendrik’s cleaning up the yoke so the U-joint actually has a chance of going together properly.
