New software updates for eligible PACCAR and Cummins engines (2019-2026) can provide significantly more time to reach a repair facility when a DEF-related issue occurs.

The update gives you more time before the final derate, going from 4 to 160 hours, while increasing the final speed limit from 5 MPH to 25 MPH, giving you more flexibility to finish your load, complete your trip, and get to service when it works for you.

Don’t get caught out by a DEF derate. Talk to your local Kenworth dealer to see if your truck qualifies.

A new proposed federal tax measure could give Canadian businesses another reason to review their equipment plans.

The Government of Canada has proposed a Productivity Mega Deduction that would provide 100% immediate expensing for most qualifying depreciable property acquired on or after September 15, 2026.

If you're considering replacing an aging truck, expanding your fleet or upgrading your equipment, it may be worth talking with your accountant about whether your planned purchase could qualify.
