The importance of following maintenance schedule. This engine was 60,000kms over the spark plug replacement when the spark plug electrode finally gave up and destroyed number 1 cylinder. A 300 dollar service turned into 7000 dollar engine replacement.

Raybern Motors is a family-owned business that has been in operation since 1974. We are located in S.E. Calgary. At Raybern Motors honesty is our number one priority. Being a smaller shop, we focus on high quality work with exceptional customer service. We avoid installing low quality parts to prevent come backs. Our greatest focus is giving our customers the best results that come from great technicians who are passionate about what they do.
We mostly work on European vehicles (Mercedes-Benz, BMW, VW, Audi, Saab, Porsche, Land Rover) but we accept all makes and models.
Raybern Motors is looking to hire a skilled licensed technician (Red Seal) at our busy and growing automotive repair shop.

This is a full-time position at an established and expanding business. We operate on a salary-based system for all shop employees. No more getting sent home with no pay if the shop has a slow day. Our goal is to support you as best we can so that you can be as successful as possible.

Responsibilities and Duties :

Problem-solving skills.
Ability to work on all makes and models of vehicles.
Strong diagnostic ability.
Good knowledge of electrical diagnostics/repair.
Ability to multi-task in a high-volume shop.
Strong communication skills both verbally and written in English.
Perform all aspects of automotive diagnosis, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
Complete routine self-generated work and daily work order requests for repairs and service.
Must provide own tools.
Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
Problem solver with a can-do attitude

Out with the old in with the new. Our customer was getting a suspension warning light on his 2005 Cadillac Escalade ESV. The cost to replace the compressor and the shocks were astronomical so we installed an Arnott conversion kit! Rides like a Caddy again!!!
