Throwback Thursdays

It’s 2021 at Grand Bend Speedway.
 Jacob was given an opportunity to drive a mini stock for the first time by the owners of the speedway that evening.
 When the green flag dropped in the main event, Jacob took his time and worked his way to lead and never looked back, winning the feature event.

 It’s opening night at thunder city Speedway and our racing teammate Carrie Allen will make her debut in the B modified class.

it was the summer of 2015 when Jacob got his first new QRC micro sprint, six years later, he celebrated his first Stock car championship winning the NASCAR track and provincial championships.

It’s the summer of 1985 at Sunset Speedway and I’m rolling through turn one and two with Johnny Gaunt hot in pursuit!
 Fast Hanley built, hot rod with one of the first five star T bird bodies installed in Ontario by the great Frankie Fraser.

At the Burlington Art Gallery today with my eldest daughter Jennifer. This was a Kurdish/Iraqi artist displaying his 1981 Chevy Malibu’s better known as the Iraqi taxis and in our racing world provided a large number of manual three speed transmissions in various ratios to run our late model sportsman cars.

Jacob is in his rookie year in the pro late model class and was asked by the track owner to drive  their Mini Stock race car in the feature.
Jacob had never sat on one of these before, but was game and jumped in… And went onto when the feature.
