Gully Mor Moto
I haven’t posted anything on social media for years but I think I need to.
We were at the Auburn hills TVR race a few weeks ago and the pits on Sat night were out of control, just want to let everybody know that this is unacceptable at Gully Mor, so I’m listing our rules now so those that think they are too hard have lots of time to make other plans for Labour day.
-fires in raised pits only
- garbage- take your garbage with you, the cans at the food truck and toilets are not for household garbage
-loud generators off at dusk
-no bikes or pit vehicles inside of track fence or in the centre of the track.
PIT VEHICLES
no pit bikes
no motorized vehicles in the trails, e bikes included (walk or peddle bike only)
golf carts- adult driven only 16 years plus
Ebikes -in the pits at reasonable speed with a helmet
Ebikes that are raced on the track (for example, E3,E5) are not allowed as pit bikes
All vehicles to be parked at dusk
NOTE, you will see staff on pit bikes with thier staff shirts on
Unlike other sports in Canada played in government funded arenas and fields, Moto cross events take place on privately owned, privately funded property. I think we need to be teaching our kids respect on and off the track as well as for the property and the owners, and that riding a dirt bike on someone else’s land is not a right but a privilege
