Apprentice Mechanic/ Licence tech
Jake's Automotive Services has been serving the Elizabethtown-Kitley area for 17 years. We are a family-run business that prides itself on honesty and quality work. Summery
The Technician/ Apprentice is responsible for diligently maintaining, repairing, and servicing customer vehicles to ensure both customer safety and satisfaction.
The Technician/Apprentice should have excellent communication skills and be able to listen and discern as well as execute all requirements in the Service process. The technician/ Apprentice can focus on the big picture without missing any of the details and deliver results. They continually strive to become an expert in their field so that the service provided is above customer expectations.
Be detail-oriented and task-oriented
• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose the source of any malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Perform road tests.
• Perform safety inspections.
• Encourage compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Education & Experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Strong aptitude for technical/mechanical repairs.
• College Diploma or Trade School Certificate in Automotive Studies
