This Techno Violet E36 M3 Cabrio is going to be the new home for the Vader seats we shared last week.

dropped the car off this week, and with the exterior already looking this clean, we’re excited to help bring the interior up to the same level.

The Vader seats were reupholstered with M-Tech Anthracite inserts, Alcantara bolsters, and OE-style stitching for a clean, period-correct look that feels right at home in an E36 M3. To finish it off, the shift boot, e-brake boot, and armrest were also redone in matching M-Tech Anthracite to tie the full interior together.

The E36 M3 Vader seat is one of BMW’s most recognizable interior pieces, and this set deserved to be brought back properly.

Originally finished in tired and fading grey leather, these Vader seats were fully reupholstered with ///M Rain inserts and Alcantara bolsters for a timeless, period-correct look that feels right at home in a real M3 (). The stitching was matched to the original OE style, keeping the final result clean, subtle, and true to the character of the car.

To complete the interior refresh, we also reupholstered the shift boot, e-brake boot, and armrest to tie everything together.

“E30” and “simplicity” mesh perfectly, which is why for this reupholstery, the owner requested that we keep it simple and timeless. The once tired, worn, and faded beige seats were reupholstered with an updated pattern that respects the original E30 seat shape: the addition of sparse horizontal stitch lines as opposed to the tight, frequent vertical stitching it once had. Of course, the rear seats were finished to match, with horizontal stitching for a clean, cohesive finish.

The interior of this E30 coupe has officially been brought back to life.

What was once a tired beige interior is now a fully refreshed black leather Sport interior. The front sport seats were reupholstered with an updated pattern that respects the original E30 seat shape, with the rear seats also match the horizontal stitch for a clean, cohesive finish.

This transformation also included:
✅ New carpet
✅ Reupholstered front and rear door cards
✅ Sound Shield sound deadening installed for improved comfort and reduced road noise
