Today we celebrate the incredible country we are blessed to call home.
As we enjoy time with family and friends, let’s take a moment to remember and honour all the brave men and women who gave their lives so that we can enjoy the freedoms and opportunities we have today. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
To all those who continue to serve in our military, thank you for your dedication, courage, and commitment to protecting our nation.
A heartfelt thank you as well to our firefighters, first responders, paramedics, police officers, emergency personnel, and healthcare workers. Your willingness to serve others, often in the most difficult circumstances, makes our communities stronger and safer every day.
Today, we celebrate Canada, but we also celebrate the people who dedicate their lives to serving and protecting it.
Thank you for all that you do.
