I should have posted this some time ago, but I wasn’t sure what my path in life was going to be like, so I am posting it now so all my loyal and wonderful customers over the years know what is happening.

Due to hard economic times for everyone these days, I had to make some changes. As such, I accepted a position with a company, and now work full-time with them. So, although I will still accomodate everyone as best I can, I have shifted my business to “by appointment only”. There’s only so many hours in a day, and my now, full time job has me quite busy at times. I would like everyone to know that I can no longer be at my shop every day, and I’m still a one man operation, so I ask for patience towards me as I transition into my new “normal”. What used to be a 1/2 day job, now could be up to 5 or more days to get completed. I’m still taking appointments, however if an extended timeline doesn’t work for you, I can give you recommendations to other shops that I trust to meet your deadlines. I would like to retain as many of my customer as possible, so please reach out to me, and I will do my absolute best to accomodate you. Thank you from myself and my family for the support over the years, but we understand completely if anyone would like to move on. Life changes so fast sometimes, it’s difficult to know what decision is best for everyone involved. Thanks, and hope to keep contact with all of my customers!

Well, it’s that time of year again folks! Prairie Automotive will be closed from December 24 through January 3. My phone is always on, and nearby if there is an EMERGENCY situation during that time. I will do my best to accomodate, but with limited parts suppliers open during that time, my hands may be tied, depending on the situation. Thank you to all my customers, I appreciate each and every one of you! Merry Christmas, and a very Happy New Year to all!

Prairie Automotive will be closed for the next few days due to a minor quad accident. Some cuts scrapes and bruises, but not really hurt, other than my pride… Wifey wants to keep an eye on me in case there is a concussion that hasn’t presented yet. I will keep everyone posted as to when I will be back to business as usual. Thanks for your patience!

To all my customers, please note: My family and I will be going on our yearly, week long summer getaway the week of August 23rd through August 29th 2021. As such, Prairie Automotive Service will be CLOSED during that week. We will be in an area that does NOT have cell service, so I likely will not be able to answer any calls during that time. Leave me a voicemail or text message, and I will periodically go to a service area to check my phone, and return as many calls as possible. Thanks everyone for your understanding, and I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer! Business will return to usual August 30th.

Meet the latest addition to Prairie Automotive's fleet! Brand-spanking new tilt-deck trailer. Equipped with a brand new 8000 LB Warn winch, 18 foot deck, and a 30" dovetail. As always, if your vehicle is not driveable, and needs to be repaired, I will use this beauty to pick it up, free of charge in and around Bow Island area, fix it, and return it to you. I know, I've said it before that I would be closed for about a month during the holidays, but, alas, people still need their vehicles fixed. So, absolutely, without a doubt, I will be CLOSED as of end of day December 23, 2020, through to January 5, 2021. As I am a "one man show", I need some time to destress and spend some time with my family after this incredibly long and stressful year. Thank you to all my customers, past, present, and future, for your patronage. And I look forward to taking care of your car/truck needs in 2021!
PS: I will be available for 24 hour EMERGENCY service if needed. I hope everyone has a fantastic holiday season!

Unfortunately, due to the new provincial restrictions put in place today, Prairie Automotive Service will temporarily suspend operations as of end of day, December 11, 2020. I do this with a heavy heart, but having immune compromised people in my immediate family, I believe the decision is justified. I hope to be back up to regular operations by the beginning, to middle of January 2021, and will keep everyone posted. Thank you to all my customers for supporting me through this insane year, and I look forward to taking care of all your vehicle repair and maintenance needs in the new year.

"That thing got a Hemi!?" Yes, yes it does. Cam and lifter replacement progressing nicely. The first Hemi I've been this far into, but, did not deter me from the challenge. In the next 24 hours, this thing should be quiet as a church mouse, and running better than new!
