After the horrible storms that hit the Lakeland this past weekend we would like to offer you some advice...
To assess if your vehicle has been damaged by hail, it is best to look it over in dim light (not direct sunlight)
If you see small dents that could be related to hail, it is best to contact your insurance to start a claim. It is wise to use a reputable, based in Alberta PDR company to do your hail repairs. We highly recommend using PDR Canada for those reasons. If you choose to use a PDR company, not based in Alberta, be aware that obtaing warranty on repairs could be difficult. We have used PDR Canada for 20 years and highly recommend them.
Please contact your insurance to get the process started and feel free to contact us to book your vehicle in for an estimate. We can add you to the short list for PDR Canada for the next available date in our shop if you choose not to bring it there directly.

We are so happy to have another great review. Keeping our customers happy is our top priority!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Absolutely amazing service! All the ladies are so friendly and kind. They did a great job on my son's Jeep! I've had work done here before, and their consistency is what sets them apart. They are a perfect example of small-town care, pride and exceptional customer service. They even cleaned the inside of the Jeep and the floor mats looked brand new. It was such an unexpected and thoughtful gesture. I highly recommend JD Collision!

We hope everyone had a great Father's Day weekend! We had the privilege of sponsoring a hole in one in the Children's Charity Golf Classic again this year for the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation. 🏌️‍♂️⛳
Mark and Andrea Reid have been hosting this tournament since 2011 and have raised over $305,000 for the Stollery thus far.

Fun Fact: The world record for removing and replacing a car engine is 42 seconds! 🤯

A team of 5 UK Royal Marines practiced for 2 weeks straight and set the record back in 1985 on a Ford Es**rt. Now that's impressive 🤔

Car Tech Trend: Smartphones replacing keys 🔑

The perfect technology for those of us who have a habit of losing our keys, 🤦 digital keys are becoming mainstream. The concept is simple—your smartphone will replace your car keys and control who and when a person can access your vehicle.

Some automakers who are currently offering digital keys:
BMW, Genesis, Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai and Ford.

The coolest part of the technology? It gives a person the ability to share their digital key virtually with someone else, like:

🔑 A valet attendant
🔑 A friend who’ll drive their car home after a night of drinking
🔑 Anyone they want to share their car with privately

What do you think? Would you prefer real keys or digital keys? 🤔

Over the course of a lifetime, the average person has a total of 3-4 accidents. That's 3-4 more than anybody wants to be in. 😖

That's why vehicle safety ratings should never be overlooked when shopping for your vehicle. 👀 A vehicle rated 'good' is much more likely to reduce your injuries in a collision compared to a vehicle rated 'poor'.

IIHS doesn't rate all vehicles, but it does rate the ones people purchase the most.

⭐️ Want to check your vehicle's safety rating? Search it up on the IIHS website: https://bit.ly/3mwBszf

What's your vehicle's safety rating?
🟢=Good
🟡=Acceptable
🟠=Marginal
🔴=Poor
