The Mt82 output shaft extension is quite the pain in the backside!!! Suffers fretting corrosion (as in a few Land Rover other designs, notably the L322)! And once they get bad they are near impossible to get out. Slide hammer and puller modifications and out they come. Pig of a job for the start of the week!

9.00pm on a Wednesday… need to blank an EGR… easy. Draw it up, convert the file for the CNC plasma, cut it and away you go. With the increased number of engine conversions we have booked in and with our full in-house design service, we have all aspects of in-house fabrication covered. Can’t wait to get current conversion out and reveal our next impressive power plant conversion.

When the scrap guy comes and you realize you’ve done 5 dual mass flywheels since February… I think we could be busy just doing clutches and flywheels… 300tdi clutch last night, td5 last Friday and a 300tdi coming in tomorrow… td5 gearbox today… busy times.
