Herring Spawn ~ important reminder ~
🧑‍🌾 Reminder to gardeners not to collect sea w**d for their gardens at this time of year as herring eggs may be attached.

🐟 Not only can herring eggs survive out of water, but reports say they may actually thrive, so care also needs to be taken when we visit the beach to watch this amazing herring run event.

🚶‍♀️ Please do not walk on the sea w**d, tread with care. Not only are herring eggs present but these areas are huge marine ecosystems.

🐕 Please tread with care and keep dogs leashed ~ thanks 💕
