🏁 J & J AUTO → J & J MOTORSPORTS 🏁
After a lot of conversations and consideration about what we want the next few years of our lives to look like, we’ve made the decision to permanently close J & J Auto.
This wasn’t a decision we made because the support wasn’t there — quite the opposite. We are incredibly thankful for every person who trusted Jordan with their vehicle, recommended J & J Auto to someone else, came back time and time again, and supported us along the way.
The simple truth is that life is changing, and our priorities have changed with it.
At the end of October, Jordan will be accepting a permanent position in the mining industry, working a permanent two-weeks-on, two-weeks-off rotation. ⛏️
It’s an opportunity he has worked incredibly hard for, and one that gives us the stability and future we’ve been working toward.
But working away also means something else — time at home becomes a lot more valuable.
When you only have half of each month at home, we don’t want those days consumed by another job.
Those two weeks need to leave room for our family, our home, our animals, Bark Inn, the things that need to get done while Jordan is away — and, just as importantly, time for us to actually enjoy the life we’re working so hard to build.
We realized that keeping J & J Auto open would mean Jordan essentially coming home from one job just to immediately start another.
And at some point, something has to give.
We would rather close this chapter while we’re proud of what we built than stretch ourselves too thin trying to hold onto something simply because it’s hard to let go.
So while it’s bittersweet, we know this is the right decision for us. ❤️
To everyone who supported J & J Auto — thank you.
Thank you for trusting Jordan. Thank you for keeping him busy. Thank you for telling your friends about him. And thank you for allowing a little garage business to become something we’re genuinely proud to look back on.
The business is ending, but the garage definitely isn’t getting quiet. 😂
We’re keeping this page and turning it into something that’s just for fun.
💥🏁 WELCOME TO J & J MOTORSPORTS 🏁💥
From here on out, we’ll be sharing our demolition derby builds, projects, derby days, damage, repairs and whatever else we decide to drag home.
No customers. No appointments. No deadlines.
Just something Jordan can enjoy doing when he’s home — because he wants to, not because he has to.
Maybe that’s the biggest reason for this change.
We’re entering a season of life where our time together matters more than filling every available hour with work.
J & J Auto served us well, and we’re incredibly grateful for everyone who was part of it.
Now we’re ready for the next chapter.
J & J MOTORSPORTS 🏁💥
Built. Smashed. Rebuilt. Repeat.
