🤣 50 BRAND-NEW STORAGE CONTAINERS. ALL THE SAME COLOUR. AND A SLIGHT PROBLEM… WE FORGOT ABOUT THE NUMBERS! 🤦‍♂️

Well, nobody ever accused us of being perfect here at Belmont Storage! 😂

This spring, we decided to replace all our older storage containers with brand-new ones. Sounds simple enough, right?

Well… 50 beautiful new containers later, we discovered one tiny logistical challenge.

THEY ALL LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME! 🤣

Same colour. Same size. Same doors. And for the past few months, many of them haven’t even had unit numbers!

Quite frankly, we’re not entirely sure how some of our new customers have managed to find their containers. We’re beginning to suspect they’ve been using GPS coordinates, counting doors, or just getting lucky! 😂

I mean, seriously… who operates a storage facility with 160 identical containers and forgets to number them?

Apparently, WE DO! 🤦‍♂️🤣

But rest assured, we’re on it!

Today, Marcus (the owner and apparently now our official sign installer) started putting up the new unit numbers.

Progress report:
✅ 4 containers numbered!
⏳ Only 156 more to go!

At this rate, we’re hoping to finish before the next generation takes over the business! 😂

IMPORTANT FOR OUR CONTAINER CUSTOMERS:

Starting today and over the next few weeks, we’ll be contacting you individually to let you know your NEW unit number as we work through the renumbering process.

Our goal is to have every container clearly numbered, making it much easier for everyone to find their unit without needing a compass, a treasure map, or divine intervention! 🧭

On a more serious note, thank you to all our customers for your patience as we continue improving Belmont Storage.

We’re a family-owned business, we’re far from perfect, and sometimes we learn things the hard way.

But one thing we can promise you is this:

We might not get everything right the first time, but we’ll always keep working to make Belmont Storage a little better every single day. 💙💛

And to those customers who’ve somehow managed to find their unnumbered containers these past few months… we’re genuinely impressed. You deserve a medal! 🏅😂

I was on site today doing our weekly floor cleaning and, of course, I couldn’t resist adding a little Halloween spirit while I was there! 🧹✨

🧙‍♀️ Wanda the Warehouse Witch — she’s in charge of keeping everything organized… or at least trying to! 😂

💚 Bones McBoxy — our resident skeleton. He’s been hanging around the storage units for years and still hasn’t picked up his belongings! 📦💀

🤍 Rattle — our newest little security guard. He doesn’t say much, but he’s always watching! 👀💀

It’s a little different at Belmont today! I’m working from home and today I’m getting some stuff done without my two little assistants running the show. 😂💻

Of course, I couldn’t work from home without bringing a little Halloween spirit to my office! 🎃🕷️👻

I’ll be back on-site at Belmont tomorrow, but seeing all these decorations has me thinking… it’s never too early to start planning where you’re going to store everything when Halloween is over! 😉

🧼 Behind the Scenes Wednesday at Belmont Storage! 🧽

Today started out as a “quick clean-up”… and somehow turned into a full-on project!

I came in with one simple task, sweep and mop the floors! Something we do weekly to keep our indoor storage areas clean and looking their best. 🧹✨

But then we decided the front door wasn't up to our standard. So Dad and I got our hands dirty and decided it was time to tackle these old signs on our glass doors too! 💪🏼 With a little Goo Gone, a lot of scraping, and 1 broken nail later, we removed the old signs and tape, cleaned everything up, and put up a fresh new sign. 🪟✨

One thing about working with family… a quick job can turn into a whole afternoon project! 😂

We’re always looking for little ways to keep Belmont Storage clean, fresh and welcoming for our customers. 🔐📦

Meet the newest addition to the Belmont Storage team… Susannah Saunders! 👋🏼

I’m excited to introduce myself as your new Operations & Customer Service Coordinator at Belmont Storage! I’ll be handling calls, emails, account questions, and helping our tenants with anything they need.

And as you can see, working from home is going great… thanks to my two new assistants! 😂💗 They may not be much help with the emails just yet, but they’re definitely keeping me company!
