Jessica attended Barrie Central high school and was married young and took on all the responsibilities of motherhood with daughter Kyndahl at age 21. Becoming a single mother at 24, she then began working full time to support her daughter. Jessica has taken a number of courses to enhance her skills in sales & marketing. Jessica’s career began at an early age by selling advertisement for the Yellow
Pages. Later she accepted a position with Metroland and its division MBM to sell and produce Trade Shows in Barrie and surrounding area for over 4 years. After only 2 years, Jessica took on more responsibilities and duties in managing accounts to retain existing clients, as well as pursuing new ones. She grew the account base from the Home Show in Barrie to the Home Shows in Hunstville and Collingwood, added The Baby Toddler Show, Golf Shows, Interior Design Show and Women's Show. She excelled in selling sponsorship packages, design floor plans, etc. to all these events. Jessica was then offered the position of Sales and Marketing Manager by the owners of the Barrie C**ts Hockey Club. Responsibilities included the managing and maintaining current sponsors and creating new business and sponsorship opportunities. Duties at the C**ts included selling sign-age, program advertisement, corporate season seats, game night and intermission sponsorships, concourse displays and player appearances. Jessica was also asked to create and execute programs to increase attendance. As a response, she initiated the Barrie C**ts Adopt A School program. Over the past 5 years over $300,000.00 has been raised for local schools and sports teams. Schools were offered group rate tickets to sell with a portion of each sale going back to the school and or organization. Jessica has worked for clients such as Barrie C**ts, Barrie Speedway, CRS, Centurion, Barrie Cycling Club, and Real Deal Racing in areas of marketing/fundraising /sponsorship's. Charity Work :
Jessica is also familiar with charity work and fundraising, being a Board member of Patrick Brown's Hockey Night in Barrie helping raise over $1 million for RVH; works with the Rotary Club of Barrie (Huronia) with C**t for a day program; was a participant in the Fighters for Fighters charity boxing event for the Barrie Women and Children Shelter. Jessica believes success comes from working very closely and understanding the needs and wants of each and everyone of her clients. We asked Jessica to produce what she feels are her skills and strengths:

· Patience. It is very important to have patience and understanding with working with clients and the community. I believe the more patient you are, the better off you will be when developing long term relationships
· Caring and compassionate. When working with clients, I believe it is very important that they know I have their best interest in mind and that I am not just working for my personal pay
· Brainstorming and creative thinking is critical in today’s environment
· Adapting to change. This quality has been very beneficial. Dealing with events including game day, we run into a few problems. But just as long as the client see's you calm and confident they see to follow. Focus on the solution, never the problem

· Work well with others as well as on my own.
· Willing to go the extra mile to please clients. Like to under promise and over deliver.
· Social media marketing is critical in business today
· Focus on Customer and Client appreciation. After all, they are the ones who will be providing me with a job. Without them, my job would not be necessary. This is why I believe I have has loyal clients that have followed me from yellow pages to the trade show to becoming new sponsors with the C**ts. And am looking forward to bringing them to The Barrie & 400 Chrysler team.
