Hi everyone!!
I’ve been really struggling to make this post. Chase Auto Body has been part of the Barrie community for the past 15 years. We suffered a major setback with a fire in 2009, 3 months after we opened, but we were determined and we made our business into everything we wanted it to be!! Back in January 2023 our rent was raised $300, ok not bad at all. But in September 2023 it was then raised 150% 😔 this shop is small, we can fit 3 cars in at a time. Landlord would not even give us a lease so we would be protected. I searched and searched for another shop, but most landlords do not want anything automotive in their buildings.
Mark and I (Carrie) have made the most difficult decision of our life. We have decided to close Chase Auto Body. I want to thank our many incredible employees over the years, and especially our many incredible customers! We will miss you!!! We have always been a very small family run shop that really cares for everyone that walked through our doors! Huge thanks and respect to everyone that gave us a 5star google review, to every referral on the Facebook groups! We are both going to really miss each and everyone of you!!! But as of August 30th Chase Auto Body Inc will be closed for good.
We are looking forward to our next adventure and heading to Nova Scotia, we will own a shop there right beside our new home. We are nervous and excited at the same time.

Most of all, I want to thank the late Ray Stevenson, owner of TTS Top Shop. If it was not for this incredible man, we would not have been able to do those first few jobs back in 2009. Rest easy Ray. ♥️
