A friend of mine Terry brought this to my attention. Good points!
If you can, pull up the article from Canadian Press, and read about the brutal temperatures across Canada. Pay special attention to the part about Alberta running low on electricity because the renewable energy can't keep up because of no wind and no sunshine and 2 natural gas turbines are down. In Manitoba, they are using rotating brown outs of 30 minutes, to conserve energy. Here in Ontario we have had about a month or more of cloudy, rainy and foggy conditions as well as days so windy that the wind turbines have to have their brakes on therefore no electricity produced. The East Coast has experienced hurricanes, high winds and snow storms. When does green energy help them. Does nuclear or natural gas turbines sound so bad ? Tell these people, who are suffering, how the carbon tax is making life better.
