Thank you all so very much for the continued support! We are now done taking on new bookings for the year, as our schedule is bursting at the seams. We may consider one more large repair for over winter yet, but it will be on a case by case basis.

Yesterday we replaced the Thermistor on a Dometic fridge due to poor cooling performance, and I would say the new one is working excellent! The thermistor uses resistance to tell the fridge how cold it is.

A simple resistance test of the thermistor, at a set baseline temperature, showed us that the old one was not registering temperature correctly anymore, as the resistance values were way out of normal operating range.

A very quick diagnosis and relatively cheap repair, when the customer believed a new fridge or cooling unit may be required.

It pays to hire experienced professionals 👍🏻
