​Back in 2016, GM gave us 85 km of electric range in the Volt, and drivers wanted more. Fast-forward to today: folks are lining up for import plug-in hybrids that barely squeeze out 50–60 km before burning gas—carrying the weight and maintenance of two separate powertrains.

​Meanwhile, Equinox EV drivers are cruising with over 500 km of pure range, skipping the pump entirely while gas prices creep toward $2.00/L.

​That’s why these aren’t sitting on the lot. They’re spoken for before the carrier unloads.
