We handle tire and wheel sales and service at your location as well as provide 24/7 roadside assistance on weekdays. We come to you in a 100-kilometer radius surrounding Airdrie, AB, including Calgary, AB and Okotoks, AB. Tires On The Run is available Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Our

shop and mobile service is designed for maximum convenience - Not all tire issues happen from 9-5! We take payment by debit card, e-transfer, Visa, Mastercard, or cash. We are hearing from a lot of new clients that they have been calling around town trying to get their summer tires installed, and multiple shops are telling them they are booking 3–4 weeks out.

That’s a long time to keep driving on winter tires once the weather has warmed up.
Winter tires are made with softer rubber, and warmer pavement can wear them down much faster than people realize. Waiting weeks for an appointment may cost you more tread than you think.

At Tires On The Run, we are currently booking for Monday, and we do tire swaps from 7AM–9PM, Monday to Saturday, so you don’t have to miss work or rearrange your whole day.

Our tire swaps are done by appointment, and most are completed in about 15–30 minutes… So EASY!

We had a client who brought his truck in, he works in the oil patch.
He said he washed out the mud, but his truck was shaking so hard that his voice was shaking when he called us for a re-balance.
We always spin the wheels as they are before we re-balance - the mud buildup gave us a new high score for weights required!
(For those who are not experts, a bad truck wheel needs about 8 oz of weight, this was 62.5 oz out)

We had a rare dessert occurrence on Friday and Saturday...
Hannah had a birthday on Friday.
Tom had his on Sunday, but we’re closed Sundays.

So, Angela made chocolate cake on Friday, Apple pie on Saturday! 🎂

Nobody was complaining, other than being too full… 😆

RANT COMING… This one really ****ed me off…
We had a young lady, a student, who came to our shop for a leaky tire this morning.

I took a look, saw cords coming out the tire(s), and told her, sorry, these tires are not safe, and haven’t been for quite a while. 😐

We arranged for her to get new tires, today, because she is travelling to BC tomorrow.

THE PART THAT MADE ME MAD IS THIS - She went on Wednesday with this leaky tire to a LARGE TIRE CHAIN… AND WAS TOLD TO JUST KEEP TOPPING IT UP.

She asked them, “IS IT SAFE TO DRIVE TO BC ON THESE TIRES?"

THEY SAID “YES”.

The only thing with less tread than these tires is a balloon - The cords are visible on 3 of these tires, and the tread is so low on these that any amount of rain or water will potentially cause her to lose control… IN THE MOUNTAINS.

As a father of daughters, it just made me completely ****ed off - There is NO UNIVERSE where these tires are “SAFE”.

Why would that other tech say such a ridiculous assurance? My opinion… He just didn’t want to “deal with it”, to have to explain it, to have to install the tires, that it’s too busy anyway, and who cares, it’s just another customer… JUST GO AWAY, DON’T BOTHER ME.

We had a great experience with Bep And Brew for our Fantabulous Friday Lunch at Tires On The Run yesterday, with a special birthday twist!

This spot is is run by a Father & Son team. I've met them both, they seem to be very genuine and friendly guys!

We had some excellent and tasty Vietnamese food… with the exception of one of our guys ordering chicken wings and fries… and some smoothies and bubble teas as well.

Then… we celebrated Hannah's birthday with her favorite - Chocolate cake, made by Angela!

Not all “free flat repair” programs are equal.

A lot of shops offer road hazard coverage or free repairs now — including us through our Total Protection Package.

But here’s the real question:

👉 Can you actually get your tire repaired quickly when you need it?

We called around to several larger tire shops in town today asking about urgent flat repairs.

ANSWER: 7-14 DAYS… with one shop suggesting that people “stop by and wait ALL DAY, MAYBE WE CAN GET YOU IN!” 😳

Meanwhile, we’re:
✔️ Usually same-day for urgent flat repairs
✔️ Open 7AM–9PM, Monday–Saturday
✔️ Charging only $38 for a repair

Tonight, a client called just before closing with an urgent leak.

They arrived at 8:57 PM.

We diagnosed the issue, removed and reinstalled the tire safely, and had them back out the door at 9:07 PM.

No charge.

In the last 2 days alone, we’ve helped with 11 urgent flat tire situations.

Because honestly?

We just don’t like turning people away when they need help.

Not all “free flat repair” programs are equal.

A lot of shops now advertise free flat repairs or road hazard coverage — including us through our Total Protection Package.

But here’s the question most people don’t think to ask:

👉 Can you actually GET your tire repaired when you urgently need it?

We did a little survey today of several larger tire shops around town.

We simply asked:
“If I have an urgent leaking tire, how soon can I get it repaired?”

The answers honestly weren’t surprising based on what we’ve heard from clients for years during busy tire season.

These name brand shops ranged from 7 days at the earliest, to 14 days… OR suggesting people “camp out all day” and “MAYBE” they could squeeze them in!

And many were charging around $50–$58 for a repair.

Meanwhile, we charge $38 for a tire repair, and we’re open from 7AM–9PM, Monday to Saturday.

But more importantly…

We think differently at Tires On The Run.

We intentionally leave room in our schedule during busy season for urgent flat repairs because we understand how disruptive a leaking tire can be.

Missing work...Renting a vehicle… Paying for an Uber… Being stranded… Stress...

As I’m writing this Thursday night, a client called us just before closing with an urgent tire issue.

Of course we said, “Come on in.”

Their vehicle drove into our shop at 8:57 PM.

We:
• Removed the wheel
• Diagnosed the leak
• Removed the tire
• Confirmed the issue was the base of a TPMS valve stem
• Reassembled and safely reinstalled everything

The client decided to hold off on the repair itself for now, but we got them safely back on the road.

They left at 9:07 PM.

No charge. 😮

In just the last two days, we’ve booked in, diagnosed, and repaired 11 urgent flat tire situations.

And honestly?
We’re glad to do it.

We’ve always believed that if someone has a leaking tire and nobody is willing to help them, that’s a real problem — not just an inconvenience.

At the end of the day, this comes down to philosophy.

We’re not interested in maximizing profit at the expense of creating stress and inconvenience for people.

We just genuinely like helping and looking after our clients properly.
