Check out this local riders journey. Traveling around the country on his Suzuki!
Feel free to share pictures of you riding with your Suzuki and we will be happy to post them.
MAWANA β PART 5/8
There are parts of this journey I can't show you.
Not because they didn't happen.
But because some moments involved other people, and I believe their privacy and dignity matter more than getting content.
So I'll keep some of those memories to myself.
But I can tell you thisβ¦
Mawana gave me much more than I expected.
I rode through some of the roughest roads I've taken this motorcycle on.
I passed through an elephant corridor and saw just how much wildlife is part of this landscape.
I saw elephants.
I met incredibly welcoming people.
I helped herd cattle.
And at one point, I spent nearly 30 minutes chasing a runaway cow. ππ
There were close calls on the road, but somehow I never dropped the bike.
Then there were the quiet moments beside the Okavangoβ¦
The kind of moments you don't really need a camera for.
You just stand there and take it in.
This picture probably tells the story better than I can.
One motorcycle.
One road.
One beautiful part of Botswana.
But when the weekend was over, there was another story waiting.
The motorcycle had collected a serious amount of Mawana. π
Dust.
Sand.
And a sprocket that was begging for attention.
MAWANA β PART 6/8
Time to strip the bike down. π§ποΈ
