Today we celebrate 60 years of independence, resilience, growth and the incredible country that gives us the freedom to keep exploring.

At Vintage Offroad, we’re proudly Botswana born, Botswana built, and permanently covered in a little Kalahari dust. 😂🛻

🚨 SOLD… YESTERDAY. Apparently. 🚨

We were supposed to post this on Monday, but Monday did what Monday does and absolutely nothing went according to plan. 😂

Anyway… another Land Cruiser has officially left the Vintage Offroad nest. 🫡

We’d love to say there was a long, emotional goodbye, a few tears and a dramatic final sunset…

But it’s a Land Cruiser.

It started.
It drove away.
It’ll probably still be driving around when petrol is P47 a litre and we’re all commuting to work in drones. 😂

Congratulations to the new owner! 🍻

Another Cruiser sold. Another happy customer. Another space in the workshop that will somehow be filled by another Land Cruiser before lunchtime.

This immaculate 1992 Toyota Hilux 4Y has officially found a new home. 🛻💨

Yes, 1992. Back when a bakkie was a bakkie. No touchscreen. No lane assist. No 47 warning lights because you sneezed near the steering wheel.

Just a 4Y engine, a gearbox, four wheels and the stubborn determination to outlive everyone reading this post. 😂

They simply don’t make them like this anymore. Mainly because Toyota realised if they kept building them this tough, nobody would ever need to buy another one.

Congratulations to the new owner! 🍻

Apparently Airlink did a flyover at the Cape Town Stadium and everyone lost their minds. ✈️😂

So naturally, we called them and asked if they could swing past Vintage Offroad on the way home.

They said no.

We took the photo anyway. 🤷‍♂️😂

Times are tough. Marketing budgets are tight. Photoshop is cheaper than aviation fuel.
