Jeep has been spotted testing a new three-row crossover in Europe.

The mystery model is a compact offering related to the Compass and was first announced by Jeep parent company Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (now Stellantis) during a 2018 presentation, where it was referred to as a “Low D 3-Row” crossover.

Jeep's global lineup will soon have a total of five models with third-row seats.

back in the post-war Jet Age there were expectations that shrieking jet turbines would replace comparatively clunky piston engines in everyday cars and trucks. Chrysler spent millions during the ’50s and early ’60s developing the technology for automobiles to run on turbine power, even building 50 of them for real-world driving and lent to regular people for three-month evaluations.

This 1963 Turbine car is one of just two survivors in private hands from Chrysler’s legendary engine project.

Wood may be the first thing the Jeep Wagoneer brings to mind. The brutish wood-paneled battle wagons were common in America’s driveways when Cyndi Lauper was a regular on Dick Clark’s countdown. The wood continued inside, too, with an ornately designed interior that was a step up from contemporary Jeeps and a leap ahead from Jeep’s 1970s everything.

The 2022 Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer return as a luxury three-row crossover SUV with big V-8 engines and three available four-wheel-drive systems, and nearly four feet of infotainment and cluster screens up front.

Alfa Romeo's pair of Formula One drivers recently put the new Giulia GTA sports sedan through its paces at the automaker's Balocco Proving Ground in Italy.

In a promotional video released Tuesday, Kimi Räikkönen and Antonio Giovinazzi did a few laps of a test circuit in camouflaged Giulia GTA prototypes. They were ostensibly called in to provide feedback on the GTA's adjustable rear wing, but more value was likely gleaned from emphasizing the connection between the F1 team and the GTA road car.

A three-row Jeep SUV based on the next-generation Grand Cherokee has been spotted testing in prototype form.

The vehicle is not to be mistaken for the long-awaited Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer duo that will ride on the full-size, body-on-frame platform of the latest Ram 1500 pickup truck. Rather, it will be a new mid-size contender to sit alongside the Grand Cherokee which will stick with two rows with its redesign.

Jeep is working on a three-row SUV sharing a platform and styling with a redesigned Grand Cherokee due about the same time.

The So Flo (short for South Florida) Jeeps SF 6x6G ditches every piece of factory sheet metal except the doors, according to the company. The bed is stretched to accommodate the additional axle and the front end gets an angry-looking grille with red LED headlights. The entire truck is coated in a scratch-resistant material made with Kevlar. The coating is 1/16-inch thick, which requires 20 gallons of the material, according to So Flo Jeeps.

The Florida company So Flo has created a Jeep Gladiator 6x6 conversion that is coated in Kevlar and rides on 38-inch tires.
