My Entrepreneurial Journey
The journey continues… We can say that in 2008 is where the journey began. What was once an idea became a long sought out journey, but one that would be like no other. Operating a company from the ground up will have its challenges but as you persevere, you’ll also see the reward. To complete a job, whether it’s painting, servicing or even detailing a vehicle brings me satisfaction knowing I’m going to make someone smile. Bahamians take pride in everything they do and have so it is my job to spend long nights and hours of training and studying so I can provide the best products and services available. I’ve learned that no man is an island and in order to grow, you need a solid team that shares the same passion and vision as you do. As a young entrepreneur I once heard that to succeed you must be so insane that you have to believe in your vision no matter how crazy you may seem to others. Joining the SBDC’s Men in Business Initiative has been a bit intense but has increase my knowledge in a wide range of areas such as social media marketing, customer service, sourcing and logistics. It created networking opportunities as well as funding. The instructors are pretty knowledgeable and open to sharing the keys to success.
