Puddle lights
Important: Do NOT just earth the negative wire from the LED, as it is a switched earth. It must go into the CCM light circuit or it will not work properly.
Early 1J0 ### ### Comfort Control Modules
The positive feed goes to CCM terminal T23/18(red/blue wire).
The negative wire goes to CCM terminal T23/16(blue/grey wire).
Late 1C0 ### ### Comfort Control Modules
The positive feed goes to CCM terminal T23/20(red/blue wire).
The negative wire goes to CCM terminal T23/21(blue/grey wire).
This is the simplest place to connect the wires, but they can technically join anywhere in this circuit.
e.g. On Golf/Jetta there is an 8 pin plug in A pillar that runs up to interior light roof harness. On all Golf models (early and late) Pin 6 of this plug is the red/blue wire and Pin 1 is the blue/grey wire.
Note: On Passats the positive feed wire colour is red /black, but terminals on CCM as listed above are the same in both cases.
