Fiat Ducato III 2.3 JTD | Stage 1 Calibration 📈

​Software optimization isn't just for sports cars and project builds. Commercial vehicles benefit massively from the increased low-end torque of a proper Stage 1 calibration.

​We strapped this Fiat Ducato 2.3 JTD to the dyno to establish a baseline. The engine proved to be in great health, putting down 132 HP and 340 Nm (over-performing its 130 HP factory rating). By safely optimizing the boost and fueling parameters, we increased the output to 161 HP and 403 Nm 🔥.

​That extra 63 Nm of torque makes a huge difference in real-world driving, especially when the van is fully loaded or climbing steep inclines.

Opel Astra H 2.0T OPC | Hybrid Turbo Calibration 📈

​We just wrapped up a custom calibration on this hot hatch. The Opel Astra H OPC is a highly capable platform, and this specific vehicle came to the rollers equipped with a hybrid turbocharger and an upgraded downpipe to maximize exhaust flow.

​Through our custom ECU mapping, we optimized the boost and fueling parameters to take full advantage of the new hardware. The final result on the dyno is an impressive 313 HP and 472 Nm 🔥, delivering a massive increase in mid-range torque and top-end pull for this FWD chassis.

Volvo S60 2.4 T5 (B5244T5) | Hybrid Turbo Calibration 📈

​We just wrapped up the custom calibration on this legendary 5-cylinder Volvo S60 T5.
​Equipped with a KKK24 hybrid turbocharger (upgraded from 6 to 9 blades) and the proper supporting airflow and fueling modifications, this 2.4L is an absolute beast. To ensure maximum precision and engine safety, the setup features perfectly flow-matched 714cc injectors, and the entire calibration was extensively datalogged live on the vehicle.

​After dialing in the software for the upgraded fueling and the free-flowing 76mm exhaust, we extracted a massive 400 HP and 535 Nm 🔥.

VW Passat B7 2.0 TDI (Common Rail) | Stage 1 Calibration 📈

These factory-restricted 2.0 TDI engines are perfect candidates for software optimization. We recently had this Passat B7 on the dyno for a custom Stage 1 calibration.

As always, we started with a baseline run to verify the engine's health. While factory-rated at 110 HP and 250 Nm, this CR engine laid down a very healthy 117 HP and 264 Nm completely stock. By optimizing the factory limits, we safely unlocked the engine's true potential, bringing the final output to a massive 169 HP and 388 Nm 🔥.

That is an increase of over 120 Nm of torque, which completely transforms the daily drivability and overtaking power of this chassis.

VW Golf MK2 (1.8T BAM Swap) | Wiring Rescue & Calibration 📈

​A proper engine swap is about a lot more than just bolting the engine into the bay. This MK2 Golf came to us with a poorly executed 1.8T BAM (225 HP) swap, needing some serious diagnostic work before it could even be tuned.
​First issue: No OBD port was wired in. After fixing that, we found the 12V power supply was completely missing for all vital engine sensors, including the N75 and N249 valves. To top it off, there was no one-way check valve on the brake servo. Under boost, the intake manifold pressurized the brake booster, making the car scream exactly like one of those inflatable rubber chickens! 🐔

​Once we sorted the wiring, restored sensor power, and fixed the vacuum routing, we finally strapped it down for a custom calibration. We capped the output at a very healthy 259 HP and 393 Nm 🔥. The engine has room for more, but we reached 95% Injector Duty Cycle on the stock S3 injectors and prioritized safety over peak numbers.

BMW E60 530d | Tailored Stage 1 Calibration 📈

​We recently had this BMW E60 530d in for a custom Stage 1 software optimization. A baseline run proved the engine was in perfect mechanical health, producing exactly its factory-rated figures of 235 HP and 510 Nm.
​While the 3.0d platform can easily push higher numbers, custom tuning means calibrating the car to the owner's exact preferences. Per the customer's request, we mapped a conservative torque limit to prioritize maximum drivetrain longevity and a smooth powerband. The final output sits at a reliable 277 HP and 630 Nm 🔥.

​To further improve engine reliability, we deactivated the EGR system and performed a MAF-less conversion, switching the engine management to run via the MAP sensor.

BMW E46 330i (M54B30) | High Compression Calibration 📈

​We just wrapped up the custom calibration on this naturally aspirated M54B30 build. The hardware setup utilizes B28 pistons to raise the compression ratio, paired with exhaust headers and running on RON 100 fuel.

​While optimizing the fuel and ignition maps for the higher compression netted our peak top-end figures, the real masterpiece of this calibration is the mid-range. By precisely tweaking the dual VANOS system, we unlocked an additional 30 Nm of torque directly in the 3500-4000 RPM range. This is where the car is driven the most, completely transforming throttle response and acceleration out of corners.

Calibration Results: Audi A4 B7 1.8T (K04-15) 🛠️

​Dialing in a great OEM+ setup on this A4 B7. Upgrading to a K04-15 turbocharger on otherwise stock hardware is a highly efficient way to increase the performance of the 1.8T platform.

​Our custom calibration yielded a healthy 205 HP and 350 Nm 🔥. A crucial part of tuning this platform is thermal management. We reprogrammed the factory electronic thermostat to target 90°C, keeping engine temperatures lower to ensure consistent performance and longevity. We also deactivated the rear O2 and SAI systems in the software.

BMW E90 330xd | Stage 1+ ECU & TCU Calibration 📈

We just finished a comprehensive calibration on this BMW 330xd. The baseline run showed a healthy engine, measuring 225 HP and 511 Nm (factory rated at 231 HP / 500 Nm).

To achieve the best results and long-term reliability, we performed a MAF-less conversion, switching the engine management to run strictly via the MAP sensor. Combined with a custom Stage 1 map and the removal of the DPF and EGR restrictions, the final output reached an impressive 298 HP and 752 Nm 🔥.

Handling over 750 Nm requires more than just engine tuning. We also calibrated the TCU (Transmission Control Unit) to ensure the gearbox can manage the massive torque increase with higher clamping pressures and optimized shift points.
