density. How it works:
On an economy class seat, when lower seat cushion can move forwards and slide down on its front part, the passenger finds room to extend his legs below the seat in front of him. His body weight helps to slide forwards and back from sitting mode to sleep mode with assistance of a set of springs. A simple retrofit kit, installs rapidly on existing seat types, or even on new one’s, requiring only a little engineering to support a minor modification program respecting seat certification integrity, for take-off and landing. Financial benefits:
Leisure and professional travelers will enjoy spending an extra 50+ $ for that additional comfort. At two rotations a day, 330 days a year, the airline earns a yearly revenue increase of 33.000 per seat, paying back its initial investment in less than three months. Major airlines are evaluating installations on single aisle compact cabins, now flying long haul, or wide bodies as well, to attract more passengers with this feature. No economy class upgrade modifications can generate as much money for such a small investment. Our added value:

As Aircraft Interiors Expo closed on June 17th, we would like to communicate about how our introduction of LSEAT at the trade show went.

We have been able to enlarge our potential customer base. Many were surprised by how innovative our product was.

Professionals realized that on trans-continental and trans-ocean was essential to their passengers, even more than IFE on which airline companies have been spending a lot of money over this last decade. They appreciated our argument that IFE relaxes the brains but do not rest bodies, whilst both are important to be fit on arrival. Passengers can then start their professional or personal day instead of looking for a bed.

How does our kit work?

Passenger body weight is used to move seat from seated mode to sleep mode while unoccupied seat self-locks in seated mode.

With a weight of .1550 grams, LSEAT works as a retrofit kit maintaining structural and certification integrity. The LSEAT kit is quickly installed between each cushion and seat structure in 30 minutes.

With row pitch from 29 inch and up, LSEAT is a minor change, to any new or used seat, using existing cushions.
