Between our unique custom paint jobs, we also restore and repair OEM finishes. This time, a CVO bodywork set came into our shop featuring a very interesting paint scheme from the days when Harley-Davidson truly paid attention to creating distinctive finishes and special visual effects.
The main challenge was recreating the specific effect used in the silver sections of the graphics, which, as you can see, turned out exceptionally well.
The customer supplied a brand-new front fender, so no bodywork repairs were required. The rear fender, however, remained original and had to be repaired before refinishing. Just like the front fender, it was then completely repainted.
We hope Dirk will continue to enjoy this motorcycle for next decades.
