During the 25 Hours race weekend, the Belcar Sprint Cup was also on track, where we provided support for Jimmy Verstraete and his VW Scirocco.

Jimmy was on his way to a podium finish in Race 1, but unfortunately a tyre failure ended his chances. In Race 2, however, he bounced back and secured an impressive third place in his class.

A race we’ll never forget. What an incredible weekend filled with determination, teamwork, resilience, and unforgettable moments.

The goal was clear: fight for a podium finish in the Pure class. After a difficult qualifying session, the team started from P73. A fantastic opening stint immediately brought them into the overall Top 40, and thanks to consistent, clean, and mistake-free driving, they climbed to 18th overall and secured 3rd place in the Pure class. Their best result of the season!

Following a challenging qualifying, the team lined up in P31. They quickly worked their way into the overall top 10 and were running 8th overall after four hours. Unfortunately, an unavoidable incident with a spinning car resulted in a crash, dropping them all the way to 77th. Most would have given up—but not this team. They fought back like lions to finish 11th overall and 2nd in class. Considering they lost over 10 minutes, this comeback was simply incredible.

Our paraplegic driver took the start of his very first endurance race. He chose to complete a four-hour stint and showed impressive progress throughout the event, climbing to P80 after the opening stages. A performance to be proud of. 👏

The ambition was to fight at the front. During practice it became clear that the new Oreca engine wasn’t delivering the performance it should have. Even so, the team qualified 17th. A new engine was fitted before the race, but unfortunately the same issue remained. The focus shifted to scoring as many points as possible, resulting in 22nd overall, 3rd in the Petit Podium class, and 2nd in the Ladies category.

A huge thank you to our entire team, our drivers, our supporters, and everyone who stood behind us throughout the weekend.

25H 2026 Line-Up

DPW Racing heads to the 25H with ambition!

After taking victory in the Biplaces class in 2023 and securing a 3rd place finish in the Fun class in 2024, DPW Racing is aiming for nothing less than the top step once again.

#18

Regular drivers Henk Rogiers and Christophe Grosjean will be joined by rookie Geoffrey Moreel, who impressed during previous test sessions with positive and consistently strong lap times. The line-up is further strengthened by the fast Maxime Debersaques and Stef Willems. A squad packed with experience, speed, and determination that hopes to make the difference over 25 hours.

Regular drivers Michiel Lescroart and Feye Hijts will team up with the rapid Anthony Beeckman, the experienced Mathieu Simone, and Christof Raes, who makes his return to the #254. Together, they claimed the Vintage class title in 2022, and they will be looking to recreate that success.

The Meulders family is back in action, with father, son, and daughter once again taking on the challenge. They will be joined by top-gun driver Lucas Taelman, creating a great blend of family spirit, talent, and experience.

Our determined driver Jimmy Verstraete will take part in the practice sessions this weekend to continue building his experience and confidence behind the wheel.

The 381 will be used during the practice sessions, allowing our drivers to benefit from coaching and valuable track time ahead of the race.

Car #18 welcomed two new drivers with limited experience. They kept it clean, avoided damage, and showed clear progress throughout the event. In Race 2, the #18 also achieved its best result of the season so far!

They stayed out of trouble, quietly worked their way up the field, had fun, and learned a lot along the way.

After securing overall pole position, everyone was ready!

All three drivers were closely matched, and the first race was going well until the organizer’s communication system failed. As a result, we lost our second place overall and had to settle for 3rd overall and a victory in the Fun Class.

The second race was a similar story. We ran 2nd overall for almost the entire race, until the final 30 minutes when our competitors were able to refuel under a yellow flag period and gained a lap advantage over us. This left us finishing 4th overall and 1st in class.

On a positive note, we once again claimed the fastest lap in class in both races!

That’s racing, but we still look back on this as a valuable learning weekend. Once again, we proved that we have what it takes to fight at the front.
