💣 An unexpected discovery during construction!

While preparing the site for our new engine test cell, we came across an unexploded artillery shell dating back to World War I.

More than 100 years after the war, discoveries like this are still surprisingly common in our region around Ypres, Belgium.

After being inspected and declared safe for transport by DOVO, the shell was carefully removed from the site.

A big thank you to the DOVO team for their professional assistance!

For those unfamiliar with DOVO, it is the Belgian Defence Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service, responsible for safely handling and disposing of unexploded am******on.

Now, back to testing our new engine 🔧✈️

A little sneak peek inside our newest engine test facility 👀

The room is not completely finished yet, but testing is already underway.

This new facility expands our existing in-house test capabilities and gives us even more capacity for engine development, testing and validation.

A great international group at our ULPower Engine Workshop on September 25! 🌍✈️

Participants from different countries joined us in Belgium for a hands-on day focused on ULPower engines, maintenance and practical knowledge.

Happy 65th Birthday to our CEO, Patrick Denorme! 🎂🎉

Patrick is still most at home in the workshop, working alongside the team and never afraid to get his hands dirty.

But last Friday, we did manage to get him out of the workshop for some cake and a party hat. 😄🥂
