GT4 European Series: TeamFloral sluit podiumrijk seizoen 2026 af met honger naar meer

TeamFloral heeft in Portimão de laatste manche van de GT4 European Series 2026 afgewerkt. Dankzij een nieuwe podiumplaats op zaterdag klom het Belgische team naar de derde plaats in het Silver-kampioenschap, wat voor een bijzonder spannende ontknoping op zondag zorgde. Voor Sam Paley en Kiano Blum eindigde die slotrace echter met pech, toen een intens wiel-aan-wielgevecht schade veroorzaakte aan het voorwiel van hun Mustang GT4 en hen tot een opgave dwong. Ondanks die tegenslag blikt TeamFloral terug op een bijzonder sterk seizoen, waarin het zich dankzij een reeks podiumplaatsen wist te onderscheiden als een van de beste teams van het kampioenschap.

🏁 TeamFloral’s season of podiums ends with unfinished business

What a battle it was. 🔥

Sam Paley and Kiano Blum had our #68 Mustang GT4 right in the fight in Portimão, with strong pace, intense battles and plenty of wheel-to-wheel action around the Algarve circuit.

Close contact racing is unfortunately an inevitable part of the sport, and today it led to front wheel damage which forced a DNF result.

Not the way we wanted to close out the GT4 European Series season, especially not after a consistent run of podiums since Monza earlier this season and a last podium yesterday.

Still, that’s racing. Our crew and drivers did everything right, and we leave Portimão proud. 💪

A huge thank you to Sam and Kiano, to our crew, to Ford Racing and to every fan who stood behind TeamFloral this season. ❤️

The chequered flag falls on 2026, and we’ll be back in 2027 to finish what we started. 🏁🐎
