The beginnings of Yazaki can be traced back to the 1920s in Japan. In 1929, Sadami Yazaki began selling electric cables for automobiles. What once started as a one-man-business, developed over the years with the foundation of “Yazaki Corporation” in 1941 into a globally operating automotive supplier. Today, Yazaki is a market leader in the area of automotive wiring harness systems and supplies all

Yazaki EMEA’s sustainability strategy through 2030 is built on four strategic blocks, providing a clearer framework that better reflects our key focus areas and activities, ensuring continued progress and impact.

These four strategic blocks are: Responsible conduct and ESG compliance, social responsibility, sustainable business growth und environmental stewardship.

The blocks were defined to directly address the material topics identified through the materiality assessment, to respond to growing customer expectations regarding sustainability, and to actively support our priority United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).

Yazaki EMEA proudly hosted the Talent Journey Graduation Ceremony, celebrating the successful completion of a two year development journey for 47 talents from nine countries and 17 locations.

The hybrid ceremony opened with inspiring messages from HR and C level leaders, setting the stage for heartfelt reflections from managers, mentors, and the talents themselves. In addition, interactive moments revisited some of the most meaningful milestones of this journey.

Riku Yazaki, President and Representative Director of Yazaki Corporation, recently visited two Yazaki EMEA locations as part of his traditional regional tour.

His visit began at our EMEA Headquarters in Lummen, Belgium, followed by a stop at our JuHa site in Lüdenscheid, Germany.

At the headquarters, Riku Yazaki toured the offices, met with local employees, and took part in business review meetings focused on our divisions and key customers.

The visit to JuHa was also a special honor for the local team. Colleagues showcased the site’s strong technological expertise – ranging from molding design and tool construction to advanced high-speed connector assembly lines and Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) production.
