Celebrating 2 years as part of the VDL family

August 2026 marked the second anniversary of VDL Bus Macedonia becoming part of the VDL family.

At our 170,000 m² production site in North Macedonia, more than 1,100 passionate and dedicated colleagues build Van Hool coaches for the European and North American markets.

Our latest delivery to the Chiesa Tropini family – first and foremost, thank you for your continued trust and loyalty over the years.

Chiesa Viaggi has added two Van Hool Astromega coaches and one Van Hool Astron to its extensive Van Hool fleet, reaffirming its commitment to providing luxury travel solutions with exceptional comfort for passengers.

All three coaches are equipped with the latest safety features. The Astron luxury coach accommodates up to 58 passengers, while the Astromega Golden Version offers seating for 80 passengers and includes a wheelchair lift and dedicated wheelchair space. The Astromega Platinum Version provides an even more exclusive travel experience, with 68 luxury seats equipped with leg rests for enhanced comfort.

We are proud to celebrate this delivery. It represents far more than the supply of new vehicles; it is the result of a long-standing partnership built on trust, reliability, professionalism and shared values.

Janssen Reisen Wittmund has taken delivery of three Van Hool Astromega coaches as an addition to its fleet.

We were honoured to welcome Managing Director Andreas Janssen, together with Sandra Janssen, as well as their daughter, son, nephew, workshop manager and driver, to our premises in Koningshooikt - Belgium.

The vehicles have now set off from Germany to explore Europe’s roads. Wishing you many safe kilometres!

Another delivery for Staf Cars! Following two Acron coaches at the end of April, we have now delivered three luxurious Van Hool Astromega coaches to the company – bringing its total fleet to no fewer than 124 Van Hool vehicles…

…and counting! For delivery in 2027, Staf Cars has already ordered five new Van Hool Astromega coaches, showing its continued confidence in the brand.

Autoservizi F.lli Zappon has just taken delivery of its very first Van Hool Astron!

This beautiful coach is equipped with high-end specifications, including a powerful 530 hp engine and a reliable Allison gearbox. For added comfort and safety, it features cameras and an onboard toilet. The interior offers 59 Kiel seats, finished in a combination of moquette and leather with stylish diamond stitching. Perimeter lighting enhances visibility and gives the vehicle a premium appearance.

Last week, Fahrschule & Bustouristik Ronald Müller collected a brand-new Van Hool Astron in sunny Belgium and drove it to Zinnowitz, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, for immediate operation.
